Almond milk

  • 150 g whole, blanched almonds
  • 700 ml still mineral water or boiled and cooled tap water

  1. Put the almonds in the blender jug and with the measuring beaker in place, chop them for 10 seconds/speed setting 10. Add the water, and with the measuring beaker in place, mix for 1 minute/speed setting 10. Sieve the resulting milk though a fine-mesh sieve into a suitable container whilst squeezing the solid mass firmly. Store in a cool place and consume within three days.


Replace the almonds with 100 g of coconut flakes. Follow the same method as for

almond milk



It is a shame to throw away the remaining pulp (the squeezed almonds or coconut flakes). The pulp can be used in many ways. Add it spoon by spoon to muesli, cake batter, smoothies or even bread dough. Simply stir the pulp in and bake.
