Berry ‘nice cream’

  • 3 very ripe bananas
  • 200 g frozen blueberries
  • 50 ml milk (fresh whole milk, 3.5% fat)

  1. Cut the banana into 1-cm thick slices and freeze overnight. We recommend that you cover your chopping boards with greaseproof paper and place the banana slices on top without overlapping so that they do not stick together during freezing.
  2. Put the banana slices, blueberries and cold milk in the blender jug and, with the measuring beaker in place, blend for 30 seconds/speed setting 8. Enjoy this berry ‘nice cream’ on its own or decorate with fresh berries.


You can also make this ‘nice cream’ with cherries, raspberries, blackberries or strawberries in place of the blueberries. Simply try out whichever berries you prefer.

If you would like it to be sweeter, add a little icing sugar to the nice cream or drizzle with maple syrup to serve. Suitable toppings include chocolate sauce, grated coconut, biscuit crumbs, muesli or puffed rice.
