  1. Put 1 litre of water into the blender jug. Peel and quarter the potatoes, place them in the cooking pot and insert it into the blender jug. Clean and wash the cabbage, spin it dry and then pull off the leaves or cut it into rough strips. Put the deep steamer basket onto the blender jug and place the cabbage inside it. Arrange the sausages in the shallow steamer basket, insert it into the steamer attachment and close the lid. Cook everything together with the steamer button/30 minutes,
  2. Take out both steamer baskets and set them to one side. Remove the cooking pot and keep the contents warm. Empty out and dry the blender jug.
  3. Put the bacon lardons into the blender jug and, with the measuring beaker not inserted, sauté with the roast button/3 minutes. Add the crème fraîche and, with the measuring beaker in place, mix with the reverse button/1 minute/speed setting 3/80 °C. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Transfer the potatoes and cabbage to a warm bowl, pour the bacon sauce over the top and mix well. Serve with the sausages.
