- Peel the grapefruit, orange and lime, completely removing the pith. Cut the citrus flesh into rough pieces. Peel the melon and remove the seeds. Also peel the bananas. Cut both fruits into rough pieces. Freeze the fruit in a covered container for at least 2 hours.
- Put the pieces of grapefruit, orange, lime, melon and banana into the blender jug with the honey and, with the measuring beaker in place, blend for 40 seconds/speed setting 10. Then pour into glasses and serve immediately.
The recipe can be made more quickly starting with frozen fruits. This smoothie also tastes delicious with kiwi fruit instead of honeydew melon.
