- Peel the onions, then add them to the blender jug and chop for 5 seconds/turbo button. Scrape the contents off the sides and back down to the bottom of the container. Add the butter and brown for 5 minutes/roast button.
- Clean the leeks, cut in half lengthways and wash thoroughly. Slice into rings 1 cm thick. Place the leeks and stock in the blender jug and cook for 12 minutes/100 °C/speed setting 1/reverse button. Add the flour and continue to cook for another 2 minutes/100 °C/speed setting 1/reverse button. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg; add the cream; then continue to cook for 1 minute/100 °C/speed setting 1/reverse button. Transfer the mixture into bowls and serve as a side dish with roast meat, for example.
