Fresh radish and dill soup

  • 300 g floury potatoes
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 onion
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 2 tbsp rapeseed oil or butter
  • 500 ml vegetable stock
  • 125 g cream
  • bunch of radishes
  • 250 g cooked ham
  • 1 tbsp dill, chopped
  • salt
  • pepper
  • grated nutmeg

Preparation time
20 min.
  1. Peel and wash the potatoes and carrots. Peel the onion and garlic, cut the onion into quarters. Roughly chop the potatoes and carrots, then place in the blender jug. Activate the turbo button twice, then add the onion and garlic and pulse once more. Transfer the vegetables to a bowl, then thoroughly clean the blender jug.
  2. Add the oil or butter to the blender jug and heat for 45 seconds/90 °C/speed setting 1. Add the vegetables and cook for 6 minutes/100 °C/roast button. Pour in the vegetable stock and cream, then simmer for 15 minutes/100 °C/speed setting 1.
  3. Meanwhile, clean, wash and thinly slice the radishes. Finely dice the ham.
  4. Just before the end of the cooking time, purée the ingredients into a smooth soup for 20 seconds, gradually increasing the speed setting incrementally from 6 to 7 to 8. Stir in the dill and season with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Serve the soup garnished with diced ham and slices of radish.
