- Wash the chives, shake them dry, put them into the blender jug and, with the measuring beaker in place, chop with the turbo button/1 second. Shred the mackerel roughly and put into the blender jug along with the soft cheese, mustard and vinegar. With the measuring beaker in place, process for 40 seconds/speed setting 4, then season with salt and pepper, and serve with freshly toasted bread.
