Noodles with Broccoli

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 400 g broccoli
  • 125 ml cream
  • 200 g Gorgonzola
  • 400 g elbow noodles
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 2 pinches nutmeg
  • 1 tbsp flaked almonds
  • 1 punnet of cress

Preparation time
10 min.
  1. Peel the onions, cut in half and process in the mixing bowl for 8 seconds/speed setting 6. Scrape down using the spatula. Add the oil and sauté for 4 minutes/roast button. Wash and trim the broccoli, separate into florets and place in the deep steamer.
  2. Place the cream, 500 ml of water and the Gorgonzola broken into pieces in the mixing bowl and bring to the boil for 10 minutes/100 °C/speed setting 1. Add the noodles, salt, pepper and nutmeg, mixing them in with the spatula and then top up with water up to the 1.5 litre mark. Place the steamer on top and cook for 12 minutes/120 °C/speed setting 1/reverse setting.
  3. Dry-fry the flaked almonds in a frying pan without any fat. Wash and dry the cress, cut off the tops and sprinkle over the noodles together with the flaked almonds and serve immediately.
