Spicy Artichoke and Chickpea Dip

  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 200 g chickpeas, drained (canned)
  • 3 artichoke bases, drained
  • 100 g sour cream
  • 60 g yoghurt
  • 2 tbsp tahini (sesame paste)
  • ½ tsp harissa (chili paste)
  • 1 tsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped parsley
  • 2 pinches of salt
  • 2 pinches of pepper

  1. Peel the garlic, cut in half and purée in the mixing bowl for 8 seconds/speed setting 8. Add the olive oil and sauté for 3 minutes/roast button. Add the chickpeas and the artichoke bases. Add the sour cream, yoghurt and all the other ingredients and purée for 35 seconds/speed setting 5. Use the spatula to scrape the mixture from the sides and mix for a further 15 seconds/speed setting 4. Season again with salt and a little pepper.
