Vanilla pudding

  • 500 ml milk
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 60 g sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 40 g cornflour

  1. Cut the vanilla pod in half lengthways. Scoop out the pulp, then add to the blender jug with the rest of the ingredients and thicken the mixture for 8 minutes/100 °C/speed setting 3. Transfer the pudding into a bowl, removing the vanilla pod, and, if necessary, strain the pudding through a sieve. Serve warm or cold.
